Upcoming: SPPU's Schedule for SET Exam Dates announce in November

The Maharashtra State Eligibility Test (SET) for Associate Professors will be conducted offline for the first time after the COVID-19 pandemic. The exam schedule will be announced by the end of November, and the exam is likely to be held in March or April 2024. Students will have about a month to fill out the application form.

Pune: For the first time after the COVID-19 pandemic, the SET (Maharashtra State Eligibility Test) exam conducted by Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) for the post of Associate Professor will be conducted offline. The examination schedule will be announced by the university by the end of November.

According to the information given by the SPPU administration, the work of preparing question papers for the exam started on Monday, November 20, and the exam is likely to be conducted in March or April 2024 at various exam centers.

SPPU conducts the examination for students from the states of Maharashtra and Goa, and since the pandemic, the examination has been conducted in online mode. During a meeting held in October by the steering committee sponsored by the University Grants Commission (UGC), it was decided that this time the examination will be conducted offline.

Students are given approximately one month time to fill the examination application form. After that it will take two to three months for exam application, preparation of hall ticket etc.
